Owner Felip Yung an Oak Park resident came up with the idea for YoGo Station after visiting his mother in Los Angeles. He tried frozen yogurt there and it tasted amazing and was also healthy for you. He knew there were no shops like it in Chicago and immediately started looking for a location when he returned to Oak Park. Once he found his l000 Lake St. location he left his desk job and has been running YoGo Station every since. He opened YoGo Station in late 2008.
YoGo Station offers a healthy alternative to other desert choices. All of his yogurt is non-fat and has less than 100 calories per serving. He offers 8 rotating flavors every day and 20-30 toppings, including fresh cut fruit, cereals, candies, nuts and more. YoGo Station also features fresh fruit frozen yogurt smoothies and milkshakes.
