  Art dans la Rue – (Art in the streets)
August 9, 5–9pm
Downtown Oak Park and the Oak Park Arts District team up to present an art fair with over 20 local artists. There will be live performance art, demonstrations, activities, music and more.
 
  Microbrew Review
August, 3–7pm
Sample tastings of 90 craft beers from 30 Midwestern microbreweries, purchase food from local restaurateurs and groove to the sounds of local bands at this festival, which models zero-waste best practices.
 
  Oaktoberfest
September 14 & 15
Annual fall festival on Marion St. and North Blvd. This free two-day event offers seasonal food from local restaurants, microbrews, wine and music. Enjoy the children’s area and root beer garden on Saturday.
 
  Green Halloween
October 13, 11am–3pm
Have a boo-rific time at this healthy, green and fun community event. Join us for a costume exchange, creative activities and live entertainment.
 
  WinterFest
December 1, 11am–5pm
Select businesses will feature entertainers from around the globe. A warming tent on Marion St. will provide free coffee and hot chocolate. Purchase a tin for our much-anticipated gourmet cookie/candy walk.
 
  Home for the Holidays
December 15, 11am–3pm
Enjoy the old-fashioned holiday spirit in Downtown Oak Park. Celebrate the season with free horse-drawn sleigh rides, a visit from Santa, carolers, a warming tent, and a live ice sculpture demonstration and live reindeer!
