On December 5th Downtown Oak Park will be transformed into a multi-cultural holiday festival for the entire family. Shop and dine from place to place and explore wonderful store fronts that highlight an array of holiday greetings and traditions. Inside select businesses you’ll be delighted by live performances from fabulous entertainers from around the globe.

Warming Tent, 10:00–5:00pm
Located in the Marion St parking lot on Marion St. you can purchase your commemorative WinterFest Cookie Tin for $5 (while supplies last) and warm up with free coffee and hot chocolate.
St. Nicholas, 1:00–4:00pm
This authentic Old St. Nicholas will be roaming the streets of Downtown Oak Park visiting with children and shoppers alike.
International Cookie Walk, 11:00-4:00pm
Receive gourmet cookies and candy from over 40+ participating businesses with a purchase of a commemorative WinterFest Cookie Tin for $5 (while supplies last).
Canterbury Carolers, 12:00–2:00pm
A seven-person Victorian ensemble will be out on the streets singing pre 1870 Holiday carols in authentic costume.
Ice Sculpture Demo, 12:00–2:00pm
Robert Childers Award winning in the World Ice Art Championship will be out carving a sculpture out of a block of ice.
Holiday Market at the 19th Century Club, 10:00–5:00pm
19th Century Clubwill offer a unique holiday shopping experience and feature over 40 artisan and gourmet vendors of "one of a kind" gifts such as jewelry, art, home accessories and more! Enjoy live entertainment, shop for holiday gifts, and enter to win 1 of 6 "Celebration Tables" at the Market. A Preview Brunch on Friday morning from 9:30–11 am will offer an opportunity to shop before the Market opens to the public

Nelson and Paola Sosa, 1:00–2:00pm
At Lido’s Caffe – 122 N. Marion
Through his guitar and percussion instruments, Nelson captivatingly leads his audience on a passage through the sounds and rhythms of Latin America. In between of songs the show is packed with examples of the music and rhythms of Latin America. Students participate by playing basic rhythms on percussion instruments, clapping, dancing, and repeating the terminology and names of the Latin American. —www.growingtogetherinc.org
