Neiman;

With an established international career and an encyclopedic repertoire, Adam Neiman has performed in most major cities and concert halls in the U.S. and Canada.  He joined the full-time faculty of the Chicago College 0f Performing Arts in 2015 as Assistant Professor of Piano.  Program is between 60 and 70 minutes in duration.  Following the concert, the audience will be invited to engage with Mr. Neiman and Mr. Fogel.  Doors open at 7 p.m. Members and their guests $25, Non-members $30, Students $10

Monday, April 22 – 1:15pm; Georg Jensen: Scandinavian Design for Living;
Danish silversmith Georg Jensen (1866-1935) founded the design company that bore his name in 1904.  His practice in Copenhagen contributed to the meteoric rise of Scandinavian design in the U.S. and around the world.  This richly illustrated lecture highlights the artistic journey of Jensen and the iconic designers who transformed contemporary life and material culture.  Jeffrey Nigro serves as President of the Classical Art Society of the Art Institute and teaches Adult Education seminars at the Newberry Library.  $15 Requested donation.

The Award-winning Jazz Ensemble offers up an electrifying and professional program. Boogie to the beat at this all ages, family friendly event. Tickets at the door.  Admission: Students up to 17 – $5 / Adults 18 and over – $10
