You can get paid to shop local this holiday from November 1 – December 25.

It’s super easy:

1 – Shop and dine at 5 Downtown Oak Park merchants from Nov. 1 – Dec 25.

• Don’t forget to save those receipts in this handy envelope!

2 – Spend $500 or more.

• Spend at least $25 at each business!

3 – Earn $50 in Shopper’s Reward Certificates to spend to treat yo’ self from Jan. 1 – Mar. 14, 2026.

Rules & Guidelines

• Three Shopper’s Reward Booklets per family – that’s $150 in cash rewards!
• Bring your DL or State ID with you when you bring in your receipts – no ID, no rewards!
• Can’t split a receipt up to apply to multiple books – sorry, that’s the rules!
• No change will be given on purchases made with reward certificates.

When it comes to your receipts, here are the rules:

• Must have the original store receipt
• Must be dated November 1 – December 25, 2025
• Must include a list of taxable items purchased
• Must be from a Downtown Oak Park Business (see list on the back of this envelope)
• Must include authorization code or order number on email receipts

These are all a hard no:

• No photocopies of receipts
• No debt/credit statements
• No receipts from medical services

Downtown Oak Park “Golden Ticket” Sweepstakes Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.
A purchase will not increase your chances of winning.

1. Eligibility

The Downtown Oak Park “Golden Ticket” Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, board members, and immediate family members of the Downtown Oak Park Business Alliance (“Sponsor”) are not eligible to win. Void where prohibited by law.

2. How to Enter

Between November 1 and December 24, 2025 (“Promotion Period”), 12,500 Shopper’s Rewards envelopes will be distributed throughout Downtown Oak Park. Ten (10) of these envelopes will contain a Golden Ticket, each with a unique serial number.

If you find a Golden Ticket, you must bring it in person to the Downtown Oak Park Business Alliance Office, located at 1010 Lake Street, Suite 114, Oak Park, IL, during office hours (Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM) to verify your prize.

3. Prizes

• Golden Ticket Prize: Each verified Golden Ticket winner will receive $50 in Downtown Oak Park Gift Certificates.
• Grand Prize Drawing: Each verified Golden Ticket winner will automatically be entered into a random drawing for the Grand Prize of $500 in Downtown Oak Park Gift Certificates, provided by Downtown Oak Park businesses.

The Grand Prize drawing will take place on Monday, January 15, 2026. The winner will be notified by email and phone. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

4. Prize Conditions

Golden Tickets must be presented in their original form. Photocopies, reproductions, or altered tickets will not be accepted. Winners may be required to present valid photo identification to claim their prize. All prizes must be claimed by January 10, 2026, or they will be forfeited.

5. General Conditions

By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final. Winners agree to allow the Sponsor to use their name, likeness, and/or photo for promotional purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.

The Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Sweepstakes if fraud, technical failures, or other factors impair the integrity of the promotion.
