How has the last five months affected Khyber Pass?
“Though we’ve received such strong support from the community, the last 5 months have been very challenging. Our business is down 50% due to COVID & Lake Street closure.”
What have you learned as a business owner over the last five months?
“I learned that things can change so quickly so I have to remember to have faith, stay focused and keep working.”
How can the community help Khyber Pass thrive in the coming months?
“We ask that the community continue to support us through these difficult times. We really appreciate it & hope to be here for another 25 years.”
If you didn’t own a restaurant, what would be your dream career?
“A math teacher.”
Favorite local spot to dine?
“My favorite spots are Puree Pizza and Sugar Fixe Patisserie.”
Favorite local spot to shop?
“I love small local shops in Downtown Oak Park.”
Favorite fun thing to do when you aren’t busy running your business?
“I love going to museums, taking long walks and traveling if work allows.”
